my work in the studio has kinda been back in full swing the past couple of weeks, getting prepped + ready for the re:craft + relic show in franklin, wisconsin. i think the time away helped because the inspiration kinda started flowing like water once i got canvases + paint + brushes out. and, i love it!

if you follow me over on instagram, you saw last weekend that i brought home four new awesomesauce paint colors from hobby lobby. i was waiting for inspiration to strike with what i could create with all four colors, and it didn’t take long. like, at all.

it all came together in my little head, and i just started painting. and, then i decided that i think this piece + design makes for a pretty nice 2016 limited edition re-nest design. i’m so in love with these colors, with the golden glitter arrows, with the size of this piece, and with the texture that is brought to life with the brushstroke technique. 

so, introducing the 2016 limited edition re-nest design: the golden glitter arrow canvas in mint green, pale tangerine, navy + grey. i’m so in love with this piece! and, there was lots of love for this at this weekend’s re:craft + relic show, which was so awesome!
