looking back over the last couple of months, even i think it’s been a little nuts.
the 4th of july.
summer camps.
the first foray into our youngest’s 4-H general projects show.
getting picked to go to the illinois state fair.
the oldest headed to purdue for summer college.
a quick trip back to indiana.
getting a new job. (and leaving my old one.)
starting the new job.
a new family routine with mom’s new job.
the start of a new school year.
the oldest’s SATs.
another cross country season x 2.
another soccer season.
the illinois state fair. (and becoming a 4-H mom.)
getting my new home office finished.
homecoming.
the youngest’s trip to washington d.c.
a trip to one of my cooking dream events.
navigating fall of senior year.

see? kinda nuts, right?
but in the words of the great elton john, i’m still standing. it’s been a lot, all of it really, really good while i have been trying to figure out when i could get back to sharing again. and even thinking about how this little business of mine continues to evolve.
the one thing i’ve always known: getting the chance to be creative is always a positive for me. whether it’s figuring out what to feed the family each week, creating custom party goodness for a birthday, or trying a new craft, it always fills my bucket. and i need to keep that going.
custom orders are always still open. (i love creating one-of-a-kind goodness for the fun things in life!) the etsy shop is still alive. (just give me a day or so to actually get it updated.) i’m brainstorming for new things for the holiday season that i hope you’ll be excited about.
thanks for hanging in there with me, friends. i’ve got lots of stories to tell from the last couple of months + to share as we continue in this together. and i can’t wait to share.
