five great easter ideas for your kids’ baskets!

confession: easter always, always, always sneaks up on me. it always ends up that the week before arrives, my husband + i look at each other and go, “uhhhh, what are we doing?” besides trying to figure out whatever meal we’re going to eat (that feels like the easy part!), it’s figuring out the baskets that makes us go into panic mode.

if you feel like i just described you, i’ve got some ideas. here’s my top five fave things to add to an easter basket this year that you can pick up!

acrylic initial keychain: i love, love, love these new additions that are made by yours truly and are available only at 35:35 makers collective in downtown sycamore! each one is a 2″ round acrylic disk, and features a single initial and a little tassel. they look adorable on a little one’s backpack, or to gift to that new driver in your family!

sidewalk chalk: seriously, with (fingers crossed!) better weather on the way, what kiddo wouldn’t love to get a brand new container of sidewalk chalk to get creative with? i feel like it’s the equivalent of when i would get a new crayola 64-count box (with the sharpener, of course!)

personalized note cards: i am such a huge fan of encouraging kids to write handwritten notes. and, what better way to encourage them than by gifting them with a set of personalized note cards, just for them??

peeps band-aids: i found these at the target dollar spot, and i’m obsessed! no matter what age your kiddos are, who doesn’t love fun band-aids?!?

super cool outside gliders: okay, my kids love these. like, will spend hours outside with them, throwing, gliding, watching them flip and spin. and, they’re available on amazon! (whoop! whoop!)

what are the things you love giving your kiddos in their basket?!?
