in case you’re new around these parts, this season is one of my favorites. not just because i adore the Christmas season and all things that come with it (decorating, crafts, baking, family), but because it’s the season of giving and kindness. world kindness day even falls in this season (in fact, it was last week!)

a couple of years ago, i wanted to figure out a way to help others celebrate the season of kindness. i’ve always tried to introduce my boys from a young age about doing good for others. my dream was to create a way for families and loved ones to come together during the season of giving to bring together creative ways to do good things and bring happiness for others. then came my kindness advent calendar!

what started as a single design, created to be a part of your home decor during the holiday season, has evolved over the years. new color palettes have been created! new formats were designed! it’s one of my absolute favorite pieces to create during the year + to share with so many!

this year is no different with a new design with my DIY kindness advent calendar. i’ve loved my traditional buffalo check version (which is still available!), but wanted to create a version that used a more modern, popular color palette that i keep seeing when out checking out holiday decor. i love all things bright + bold, so this year’s new DIY kindness advent calendar is my faves: pink, more pink + green!
