i feel like it would be a total disservice to not start this happy birthday note by saying thank you to each and every one of you. whether you are a follower of this little blog that could, a facebook fan, or one of my relatives, i have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, kindness, encouragement and big love to the launch of my crafty dream. this little endeavor was a while in the making, but to have put myself and my designs out there and have the response i have had was just more than i could have ever asked for. (picture me jumping up and down now, like a little girl, giddy with excitement)

so, what have we done this year? grown the number of designs in our shop. posted 30+ blog posts. went way out on a limb and set up shop at a local craft fair. established re-nest studio’s best seller (our “you are my sunshine” canvas wall art). (while these might not seem like huge milestones, this was done while having more than a full-time job outside the home, raising our four-year-old with mr. re-nest, trying to keep some semblance of sanity in our home, and oh, welcoming  little mr. re-nest #2!) given all of this, i’m pretty dang proud of what i’ve been able to do with my little passion project in this last year.

it’s a fan favorite!

what do i want to do in year two? well, keep building. keep getting more and more fans and followers through facebook and through etsy. keep expanding our designs. but most of all, just keep having fun.

so, happy birthday to re-nest studio! here’s to many, many more birthdays!
